Zooey Deschanel attended the premiere of her latest movie Yes Man looking stunning. Quirky and unique is her style. Though, i must admit, the puff on her shoulder combined with the tights kinda makes her look like a bunny. Despite this, she still looks darling.

Mischa: Beauty in Blue.
Here's Mischa at the Elie Saab Fashion show on the 28th Jan 09. Doesnt she look darling in this piece? It sits perfectly on her, the hair looks mermaid-ish, and the shoes are classic. I love the clutch too~ 9.5/10

And then, theres this dress which she wore when she attended the Dior Fashion show at the Rodin Museum in Paris. The dress is an odd choice, but it when you look at it, and how it sits on her, it looks good. But then you look down, and you see those.. (can you call them SHOES??). They're absolutely wrong.. just wrong. Whats with the heels? I mean, I've always known that Mischa makes odd fashion choices, and they almost always work out. But this time, it just doesnt, Mischa. Who thinks the shoes are a downfall for Mischa?

Belle of the ball
Camilla Belle has done it again. She has fashion sense, alright! Just look at the designer piece shes wearing below. She's at the L.A premiere of Push.
Heres another photo of when she attended the LA premiere of Twilight last year. Another great fashion choice. Camilla always wears something unique and stylish.

Down Montaigne Avenue
Mischa hit the shops down Montaigne Avenue on the 29th January following an Elie Saab Fashion show the day before. I think the hat goes well with the outfit. it gives her a grungy, music type of feel. The simple, white t-shirt goes well with the high-waisted skirt, and therefore is a great combination. Mischa definately has fashion sense. I'm loving her style.

Trashy Bla Bla?
Whats going on, Lady Ga Ga? She's turned into one of those celebrities that thinks they can get all the fame by looking oh-so-trashy. Look at the picture below. Trashy, much?

Mischa looks lovely
I think Mischa Barton looks simply stunning in this gown. It looks like an Elie Saab design. Look at the detail, and the volume. She looks beautiful. And this shot of her is lovely.
Dakota Does Darling~
We've all seen Dakota play her part as a cute little girl in various films. But now, shocking as it may seem, she is growing up into this teenage fashionista. Take a look at the new Dakota.

She's a year younger than I am. So i could proably pull this outfit off :P

Elie Saab
I have a newfound favourite designer. Given away by the title of this post, it is Elie Saab. I discovered him yesterday when I was looking at the Spring/Summer 2009 Haute Couture Collection on the Vogue website. The thing I love most about his designs is the fact that they're very creative and unique. Its not necissarily the fact that I would wear them, because some of his creations are too extreme; its the eautiful designs and uses of fabrics, and how he puts them altogether and they just work. The way he puts various fabrics together, and the way he layers them/uses them is purely amazing. Take a look at this video of his ready-to-wear collection from Spring/Summer 09.
As you can see from the video, Elie Saab uses volume as his one of his fabulous techniques. He loves to experiment, and the outcomes of his experimentations is, obviously, always beautiful and creative. He just tempts me to be a designer, which I'm unsure about. I'm only a senior, I've still got less then two years to decide. I'm thinking of journalism. How wonderful would it be if I could work for a fashion magazine? *sigh..*
If you want to view more of his collection, visit www.eliesaab.com.

On the Runway.
The Runway. Wouldnt you just love to be there? Whether you're front row or flaunting the fashion down the runway, wouldnt you just love to feel that atmosphere? The fashion may seem weird to you; some of the clothes you wouldnt even wear out in public. But i think runway fashion is more wacko because it wants to give you the essence of the idea; to pass on a message by going over the top. Everyday fashion that you see at the local shops comes from these wonderful designers' ideas. The runway always starts a new fashion revolution, and the style makes its way to our stores.

Heres a look at the Spring/Summer 2009 Haute Couture, direct from Paris. [Wouldnt you just love to go to paris?!]

Television Couch Potato
Television. Defined as: a telecommunication system that transmits images of objects (stationary or moving) between distant points. It was invented in the 20th Century, and might I add, is one of the best inventions ever created in the history of man.
Television is too addictive for me, its like a drug. And, quoting Edward Cullens words, its "my own personal brand of heroin." I'm addicted to way too many shows, that I've become a couch potato!
This entry will be about Gossip Girl, a show that many will and won't enjoy. Gossip Girl is a TV show about the lives of wealthy teens living in New York. Its filled with luscious fashion styles and clothes, over the top [OTT] teenage drama, romance, and it is also a comedy. I think the most addictive thing about it for me, personally, is the fashion. And that's definately because I am a fashion addict. I think another thing that is quite dominant is the OTT drama. I think sometimes we need to escape our own lives and let the cub-conscious mind take over so we can imagine living drama-filled lives.

Can you imagine wearing those uniforms? I go to a private school, so the school is pretty strict about the uniform. But they seem to be able to style theyre uniforms however they like, as long as it has the school material. Can you imagine being able to wear pinafores to school everyday, or whatever shoes you want... I can only imagine... but I know it will never be a reality. Unfortunately, my school wants us all to look the exact same. =[
I highly recommend this show, but be warned, you might get too addicted for your own good. ;)
Can't wait for the next entry!~

fashion is the new blog
I think I'm crazy. I'm too obsessed with fashion.
I've been reading magazines endlessly, flipping the pages, gazing with my mouth wide open. Fashion Fashion Fashion. What can I say? I'm envying all those people that get to wear those clothes. I went through 'Shop til you drop' magazine a zillion times. Then i went through the fashion pages of the march '09 issue of 'Girlfriend'. From my 'research' as you'd call it, I've discovered that ripped jeans are in, skinny jeans are out. Lace is also making its debut. Statement tees are also back in this year. Fringed bags are the new "ooh la la~". So people, don't throw away those old jeans!
Some of my fashion inspirations?
Mischa Barton always has this hippie, unique style. I just love seeing her put together things - it just all FITS. She has a very addictive and inspirational style.
Rachel Bilson is always looking fabulous. She's similar to Mischa's fashion in the hippie way, but she's more simple/contemporary. I love her fashion sense.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen each have two very different, unique styles. I love pretty much everything they wear, from the crazy, outrageous outfits, to the awesome bags and to die for shoes. But i HATE the real fur. Its a no-no.
Lauren Conrad has a cute, girly style. So if that's your thing, check her out. She's always wearing beautiful pieces that i would die to wear.
Zooey Deschanel is the quirkiest fashionista I've ever seen. She wears the kind of things I usually wouldnt, but when I see the outfits she puts together, the essence of her style, I'm craving her fashion sense all the time! Jealous, much?
Agyness Deyn. Wow, this girl puts weird things together. I would never dream of wearing the things she wears sometimes, but wow, she is always looking amazing. Her styles going to rock this world, you mark my words!
Thats all for today, keep checkin in for more fashion news.
